JUB are at the forefront of final coat and render manufacturing in Europe and have been producing some of the most technologically advanced products since 1875. JUB produce in excess of 140,000 tonnes of render, paint and associated products every year and recently commissioned their own EPS production facility to complement their fully warrantied External Wall Insulation Systems. Many of the JUB products have both BBA and ETAG certification.
Our JUB product range includes thin coat renders, scratch renders, paints, penetrants, primers, high performance renders and base coats. Alongside this we can access a full range of insulated render systems and ancillary products supported by a JUB warranty. JUB produce an extensive range of thin-coat renders and coatings, but rather than offering the full range of products, we have selected with guidance from the JUB technical team, a comprehensive range of renders and coating that are suited to the harsh Scottish climate. Available in a range of JUB and NCS colours, we can tint these at our Jumix Tinting Centre in Glasgow.

JUBIZOL Unixil Winter Mix Thin Coat Render is available in a 1.5mm grain size and has all of the same attributes as the normal JUBIZOL Unixil however, with the addition of a specific second component, this render can be used at temperatures as low as 1 degree. Whilst the substrate requires to be clean and dry, this render can be applied before other alternatives when a weather window is forecast. It will cure faster than other renders, allowing work to continue in the margins of our normal winter working conditions. Specifically designed for the Scottish market when so much time is lost to cold starts to the otherwise suitable day, it allows the applicator to start earlier in the morning without compromising the final render and thus saving time and subsequent additional expense. It is imperative that the 2 components are used in conjunction with each other to ensure a full and complete cure is achieved. It is currently only available in around 100 colours however, this range is being added to all the time. Specific colours can be produced on request if required. Approx Coverage: 10-11m²/25kg tub

After the substrate has been prepared and cleaned, most paint applications will require a primer before proceeding with the final coating. This primer will ensure a good chemical bond is achieved between the substrate and the final coat and will extend the life of the final finish. It is recommended that the paint to be used for the final coat is diluted 1:1 with fresh clean water and used as the primer coat. This will ensure the coat tensions, chemical construction and bond are uniform and compatible which will all combine to allow the coating to perform to its maximum.
JUB Kulirplast is a clear acrylic render that encapsulates natural marble and granite aggregates to provide an attractive and hard wearing exposed aggregate finish.
