Product Specifications

Decarock Stone Natural Stone Panel System is comprised of two designs;  Decarock Cladding & Decarock Veneer

Each system is made up of real stone z-shaped tiles that interlock to form a natural stone facade using both panels and corner tiles.

See below for the elements of each product and what you will expect to find in each box.  Due to the composition of the design, please note that all dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly.

– Decarock Cladding

Decarock Cladding tiles have chunky, rustic elements of natural stone that are held together with an epoxy resin mesh at the back the z-shaped tile.  All tile sizes are approximate.

Panels:
550x150x30-50mm

Long Corners:
550x150x30-50mm

Short Corner:
approx 290x150x30-50mm

– Decarock Veneer

Decarock Veneer tiles are thinner than the Cladding are have smaller, sleeker pieces of stone that are glued together at the back to form a z-shaped tile.  All tile sizes are approximate.

Panels:
550x150x10-20mm

Long Corners:
415x150x10-20mm

Short Corner:
approx 135x150x10-20mm

Please note that for all our Veneers, both long and short corners are included in the same box for easy installation.

Although corner sizes may vary from colour to colour, when laid together side by side, one short corner and one long corner will roughly be the same length as one panel.

Corners and Returns

All corner tiles are flat, not L-shaped pieces, so 2 corner tiles of Decarock Stone will be needed to creat each level around a return.  We would usually recommend using one Short and one Long corner in order to stagger the joins, see the composition of corner tiles below.

Remember when installing your Decarock Stone, always start with the corners at one end, working towards the centre of the the wall.  Then from the other end working towards the centre.  As you continue up the wall, alternate where the joins meet in the centre at these sometimes have to be cut to fit.

Below is an example from each product, of the how the corners will look when fitted together.

Stone Panel Adhesive

We recommend using our Decarock Stone Panel Adhesive, available in 20kg bags and is mixed with water.  This adhesive is a high grade, quick grab, frost resistant external adhesive that has been specifically selected by us to ensure maximum stability and adhesion of our Decarock system.  See our Installation page for more information where you can download our full installation guide.

Decarock RS Sealer

Choosing to seal Decarock Cladding or Veneer is entirely your own preference, as it is not a requirement.  When left untreated, Decarock Stone will weather as any natural stone would when exposed to the elements.  However should you wish to protect your wall, especially indoors, our RS Sealer offers an invisible protective coating that will repel water and dirt.  Available in 500ml handheld pump, it is easy to use around the home.
